Price/Terms – GazellaWifi has one of the best pricing models. A simple, straightforward pricing model. Month to month contracts, with zero setup fee. Most all clients (unless a custom build) are offered a free trial. Answer a few questions and they will send you an email in minutes with their “Instant Price Quote”. GetTurnstyle ranked second in the Price/Terms category. While they don’t offer pricing directly on their website. Third party sites allude that pricing is around $99 per month. Setup fees and contracts are likely. Zenreach was a bit of a mystery card when it comes to pricing. Based on a few of their customer’s interactions online, it appears long term contracts are required to become a ZenReach customer.
One new notable company offering Wifi marketing services is PopNet Wifi. Their pricing is lower than others but we have yet to try them out yet. Feel free to contact them for more info and report back here if you want to help build out this review for others.
Analytics – GetTurnstyle.com comes out on top for analytics, their dashboard dives into heavy details of customers.The GetTurnstyle.com website. Boasts that you can “learn more about your best customers and how often they visit”. Providing an additional view of you business other than just from you POS data. While Turnstyle seemed to have a bit of an edge the competition wasn’t far off. Nuts and Bolts the analytics were similar for all three companies. The valuable return rate data along with days of the week appeared to be consistent across all three platforms.
Features and Integrations – For the most part feature and integrations were again similar. GazellaWifi.com had a few useful integrations by integrating directly with Mailchimp and Constant Contact. If you are a developer or have a little bit of a technology background Gazella’s webhook capabilities are super simple to use in their user interface. The sky is the limit with webhooks, connecting to many different platforms with a simple to use restful API. Zenreach ranked top of the list on features as their “Walk Through Rate” appears to be quite impressive. Boasting that customers that connect with Zenreach come back 65% more of the time. If this is true, it is truly an amazing feature.
Support – While all three companies have support, Gazella Wifi-Marketing stood out as they provide a dedicated account manager for your account. Assisting all the way from set up to wifi-marketing strategy. Wifi companies consistently are ranked poorly on customer service, but no negative feedback could be found for Gazella’s support team. GetTurnstyle and Zenreach both appear to have a knowledgeable, and well-educated support team as well. However, after browsing a few comments about the ZenReach team on Twitter it’s unclear if support is their strong suit.
Customization – If you are part of the population that can’t stand a rigid template, GazellaWifi.com is your choice. The team at Gazella has templates for you to use, however if it’s customization that you want, the easy to use text editor format allows even a novice at technology to make updates to the splash page design and marketing. Gazella even has a designer on staff to make a custom design for your business, if you so choose. ZenReach and GetTurnstyle also appear to have plenty of customization options but appears using standard templates are the best way to go about using their platforms.
Ease of Implementation – Consistent with other players in the market. The three major wifi-marketing companies boast quick and easy ways to get started with wifi-marketing. One of the main differences is Gazella “leases” the hardware to the customer at essentially no charge. A true plug and play system. If at any point customers decide Gazella is not for them, a prepaid shipping label is sent and sending the hardware back is a simple, straightforward process. Most of the other wifi-marketing companies require you to have your own hardware or require a setup fee to get the hardware installed.
If you are a marketing company, web hosting company, app builder, or any other service that wants to offer your own white-labeled wifi marketing service then I recommend that you go with Gazella. I’m personally setup with these guys and the experience has been great. I manage my own white label wifi marketing system where I manage my clients’ accounts. They give you the hardware you need to setup in the clients’ location as well as provide the backend system that your clients can log into to see the stats.
