Seven7h Sense CBD Products Review – A 2020 Deep Dive

A Deep Dive Into Seven7h Sense CBD

Seven7h Sense has a different niche in the CBD market than other brands, touting their products as botanical CBD. In addition to tinctures and edibles, Seven7h Sense has a diverse line of topicals that have more of a self-care and beauty routine feel than the typical topicals.

Seven7h Sense never tests on animals and uses best practices for earth-friendly products. Although their products are not organic, they do go through strict quality control processes.

The Seven7h Sense line has three focal areas: Relief, Everyday, and Edibles.

From the types of products they craft, one gets the feeling that Seven7h Sense is like spa CBD. Everything about it says self-care. Let’s explore why CBD is a thoughtful addition to skin, beauty, and personal care.

Phytocannabinoids are natural chemicals found in plants, including the hemp plant. Cannabidiol, or CBD, is a phytocannabinoid. Working in conjunction with endocannabinoids, which occur naturally in the human body, CBD and other phytocannabinoids can help restore balance and equilibrium to our nervous system.

The human body relies on the endocannabinoid system for homeostasis, so it is believed that supplementing the cannabinoids that are already in our bodies can help us achieve a serene balance that we lack due to the effects of the environment, toxins, diet, health conditions, and life’s stressors.

It’s important to remember that the FDA has not approved CBD to treat any medical condition, except for certain types of epilepsy. As a result, companies are not permitted to make specific claims about the medicinal efficacy of CBD. In fact, Seven7h Sense will not even post reviews on their website that have anecdotal evidence of curative benefits.

However, the 2018 Farm Act in the United States removed CBD from the Schedule I controlled substances list, paving the way for industrial hemp to be legally sold as a supplement or as a component of a personal product.

Note: While the 2018 Farm Act legalized CBD at the federal level, states still maintain the right to local regulations of CBD, so check with the state you live in or are traveling to before you order or pack your CBD.

Thinking of the science behind CBD, it makes sense how the inclusion of cannabidiol could have a therapeutic effect on your whole body, whether it be skin, muscles, hair, or internal systems.

Hemp Extract vs. CBD

While you’ll hear these terms used interchangeably, the truth is all CBD is hemp extract but not all hemp extract has CBD. Seven7h Sense points out that some hemp extracts contain more than a hundred phytocannabinoids, some of which are thought to have therapeutic benefits.

But not all hemp extract has high concentrations of CBD, so check your labels. It’s vital to know who you’re buying from and what the exact ingredients are before you put something in or on your body.

CBD vs. THC

Many consumers think that CBD comes from the marijuana plant and will therefore have a psychoactive effect, causing you to get high. The confusion is understandable because CBD and THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) are phytocannabinoids from the same plant family: cannabis.

The difference is that the hemp plant and the marijuana plant have different chemical makeups. Hemp has a high concentration of CBD and only trace amounts of THC (0.3% or less). Marijuana, on the other hand, has low levels of CBD and a concentration of roughly 25% THC, a much higher ratio than is found in hemp.

Any CBD you are legally buying on the market comes from the hemp plant and therefore has only trace amounts of THC, not enough to get you high or impair you. Now, if for whatever reason you want to make sure you don’t have any THC in your CBD product, choose a broad-spectrum product. Any CBD product labeled as broad-spectrum has gone through an extra layer of purification to remove those last trace amounts of THC. Full-spectrum CBD products still contain trace amounts of THC, though not enough to result in psychoactive effects, but possibly enough to show up on a drug test.

It’s not just the chemical composition that’s different: the hemp and marijuana plants are physically different, too, with hemp being taller with thinner leaves and marijuana looking more like a bush with broad leaves. Hemp has only recently been used as a personal or ingestible product. In the past, hemp was mainly used for industrial purposes, like making rope and paper. Marijuana has always been used for recreational purposes and is more commonly prescribed for medical conditions.

Who’s It For?

Incorporating Seven7h Sense CBD products is a simple yet luxurious way to step up your beauty and supplement routine. You don’t have to smoke or vape if that’s not your comfort zone, and it’s easy to figure out dosing on the tinctures, gummies, and capsules. For the topicals, no dosing advice is necessary.

What We Like About Seven7h Sense CBD

We love the spa-like feel of Seven7h Sense CBD products, and how they have curated their products for ultimate self-care with CBD benefits. The scents are fabulous, like Orange Bergamot, Chamomile Green Tea, and Eucalyptus Spearmint. Their products, like Reconnect Sugar Scrub and Relax Chamomile Green Tea Body Wash are products we would buy even if they didn’t have the CBD, so the CBD is like an added bonus.

There’s nothing to smoke, it’s not obvious. Seven7h Sense gives us the feeling that we are just discreetly taking care of our bodies inside and out.

What We Don’t Like About Seven7h Sense CBD

While Seven7h Sense talks a lot about their natural ingredients and third-party testing, it’s impossible to find the specifics about ingredients and testing lots on their website. Review Summary

Seven7h Sense has designed and formulated a lavish line of CBD products for skin, hair, and body, as well as edibles to provide therapeutic benefits. The addition of botanical therapy to the CBD products creates a complex and layered user experience.

These products are well worth a try; the only drawback is that Seven7h Sense has unfortunately been unavailable since the onset of the Covid-19 crisis. We look forward to seeing their products back on the market when the global pandemic has subsided.
